BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST TWO MISCREANTS WITH CACHE OF ARMS
-Bhojpur police, acting on a tip off, arrested two miscreants from Darshan Chhapara and Dhoda Tola under Ara town police station in connection with shooting and injuring a cattle businessman. The police also recovered cache of arms from them. The police recovered three country made pistols, one country made musket, one magazine, 37 live cartridges and 11 blank cartridges from Darshan Chhapara Ke Tola and Belaur villages.

ARA------------------------Bhojpur police, acting on a tip off, arrested two miscreants from Darshan Chhapara and Dhoda Tola under Ara town police station in connection with shooting and injuring a cattle businessman. The police also recovered cache of arms from them. The police recovered three country made pistols, one country made musket, one magazine, 37 live cartridges and 11 blank cartridges from Darshan Chhapara Ke Tola and Belaur villages. Later the police sent them to jail after interrogation. The arrested miscreants were identified as Ranjay Kumar Singh son of Ambika Singh and Nitish Kumar alias Sumit Kumar alias Bhuwar son of Anil Singh of Belaur Ke Tola under Udwantnagar police station in Bhojpur district. They are uncle and nephew. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Udwantnagar police station against the arrested miscreants under the Arms Act on the statement of the SHO Udwantnagar police station.
ASP Parichay Kumar said that the armed miscreants had shot at and injured a cattle businessman Kedan Singh near Dhoda Tola under Udwantnagar police station area in the late evening on February 2, 2025 and also snatched Rs. 1.5 lakh in cash. The injured was a resident of Zamuaw village under Sandesh police station in Bhojpur district. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Udwantnagar police station against Ranjay Kumar Singh and his nephew Nitish Kumar alias Sumit Kumar alias BHuwar on the statement of the injured. A police team was formed under the SHO Udwantnagar police station Ram Kalyan Yadav and the police team acting on a tip off, conducted raid near a school at Darshan Chhapara and arrested Ranjay Kumar Singh from there. On his revelation, the police arrested his nephew Nitish Kumar alias Sumit Kumar alias Bhuwar from Dhoda Tola who had taken shelter under the heaps of husks in the village. Later the police, on the revelation of arrested miscreants recovered from a flour mill at Darshan Chhapara and also near a temple at Dhoda Tola.
