BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST TWO MISCREANTS FOR MURDER

ARA-------------------------Bhojpur police arrested two miscreants and sent them to jail after interrogation in connection with murder of a youth.  

ASP Parichay Kumar said that a matriculation student Vishal Kumar alias Laloo 18 son of Brij Kishore Singh alias Manjay Singh of Vishambhara village under Gadhani police station lived with his maternal grandfather Bindeshwar Rai, a retired army man at Dihari village under Sandesh police station in Bhojpur district since his childhood. In the night on July 26, 2024, Mithun Kumar son of Surendra Singh called Vishal Kumar on his mobile and later killed him and threw his body near a Shiv Temple to the east of Badiha village on Belaur-Nansagar main road under Sanesh police station whence the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Sandesh police station in this regard on the written petition of the maternal grandfather of the deceased. After institution of FIR, the ASP formed a police team under the SHO Sandesh police station Santosh Kumar. The police team following scientific and technical evidences, arrested Mithun Kumar of Dihari and Ranjeet Kumar alias Muski son of Sudarshan Singh of Kholpur village from their houses and on their revelation, the police recovered a country made pistol used in the murder from Anaith locality under Nawada police station. The police also recovered a country made pistol, one live cartridge, two blank cartridges, two mobiles and a motorcycle.

ASP stated that Mithun Kumar, Ranjeet Kumar alias Muski and Vishal Kumar alias Laloo were friends. Some days ago, Vishal Kumar had some dispute with them over trivial matter and so they had threatened Vishal Kumar with dire consequences. In the night both called Vishal Kumar on mobile from his house and took him near Kholpur village on a motorcycle where they shot him dead at a secluded place and escaped from the scene.

Father of the deceased Brij Kishore alias Manjay Singh said that he had one son Vishal Kumar and a daughter Karina Kumari. At the birth of Karina Kumari his wife Shilavati Devi had died and so he married with his sister-in-law (saali) Malti Devi. He married his daughter Karina Kumari on July 19, 2024. On the other hand, maternal grandfather of the deceased Vindeshwar Rai said that Vishal Kumar got a call on his mobile at about 11pm on July 26, 2024 and he came out of his house at once but he did not return home. On July 27, 2024, the police recovered the body from near the Shiv Temple at Badiha village on Belaur-Nansagar main road under Sandesh police station. He stated that Vishal Kumar had not enmity or dispute with anyone in the village. He did not blame anyone for his murder but he suspected the role of his friends lived with him.
