ARA------------------------------Bhojpur police arrested two miscreants in connection with a theft in a temple at Jagdishpur in Bhojpur district and recovered a cutter, a chisel and Rs. 24,550 in cash from their possession. The arrested miscreants were identified as Monu Kumar son of Sharadanand Sah of Sadar Bazaar Chaurasta Ward no 12 and Vinod Gond son of late Yakil Gond of Sutahi village Ward No 12 underJagdishpur police station.
Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that some miscreants had stolen money from a donation box at Mahavir temple near Sadar Bazaar under Jagdishpur police station in Bhojpur district in the night on September 16, 2023. Aditya Kumar, president of the temple lodged an FIR with the police under Jagdishpur police station in this regard. After institution of FIR, he formed a police team under SDPO, Jagdishpur and this police team arrested two miscreants and seized Rs. 24,500 all in coins packed in a gunny bag.
