BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST TWO MISCREANTS AND SOLVED MYSTERY OF MURDER

Ara, 15 June 2023, (RNI): Bhojpur police arrested two miscreants and solved mystery of a murder at Kateya village under Bihia police station though the third one escaped seeing the police by jumping from the roof. The arrested miscreants were identified as Raja Ram and his brother Sunil Ram of Kateya village. The police sent them to jail after interrogation. 

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that Riyaz Ahamad 15 son of a mason Raj Ahamad of Kateya village under Bihia police station in Bhojpur district had gone to watch a dance programme in the village whence the miscreants kidnapped him and later the police recovered his body from the cemetery of the village. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Bihia police station in this regard against Raja Ram, Sunil Ram Krishna Ram on the statement of the father of the deceased. During interrogation, the SP said that the arrested miscreants confessed that Riyaz Ahamad had a love affair with the girl of the village said to be the sister of the arrested miscreants’ friend. The relation between the two irritated their friend who hatched a plan with them and kidnapped Riyaz Ahamad when he was watching dance programme in the village. They thrashed and killed him and later threw his body at the cemetery. The SP said that after institution of FIR he formed a police team that following scientific research knew that love affair was the cause behind the incident. He said that at least five persons together had committed crime but the police could arrest only two of them Raja Ram and Sunil Ram while three others including Krishna Ram are absconding. The police are conducting raids to arrest them.
