BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST TWO DRUG PEDDLERS WITH 70KG OF GANJA

ARA---------------------------Bhojpur police, acting on a tip off, arrested two drug peddlers and seized 70 kilogram of ganja from a house at Krishnagar locality under Nawada police station in Bhojpur district. The arrested drug peddlers were identified as Manish Rai and Sudhir Rai sons of late Ramchandra Rai. A named FIR was lodged with the police under the Nawada police station in this regard and the police sent them to jail after interrogation.

ASP Parichay Kumar said that the police got information that drug peddlers were dealing in ganja at Krishnanagar locality under Nawada police station. A police team under the SHO Nawada police station was formed at the direction of the Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav. The police team at once swung into action and conducted raid at Krishnanagar locality and found that two persons were standing on some goods packed in plastic bags at the gate of their house. Seeing the police they threw the bags into the water beside their house and tried to escape from the scene but the police chased and caught them. When searched the bags, about 70 kilograms of ganja was recovered.
