BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST TWO DRUG PEDDLERS AND SEIZE 300 GRAMS OF GANJA

ARA-------------------------------Bhojpur police arrested two drug peddlers and seized 300 grams of ganja from a shop at Khaptthan village, Ward No 4 under Jagdishpur police station in Bhojpur district though one drug peddler escaped from the scene. The arrested drug peddlers were identified as Pappu Lal Ram son of Prem Lal Ram of Khapttahan village under Jagdishpur police station in Bhojpur district and Anup Kumar Singh son of Santosh Kumar Singh of Mahadevganj village under Sonbarsha police station in Buxar district. A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Jagdishpur police station under the NDPC Act and the police sent them to jail after interrogation. Police are conducting raids to arrest the rest drug peddler.

SDPO, Jagdishpur, Rajeev Chandra Singh said that the police got information that Pappu Lal Ram was dealing in contraband ganja from his shop at Khapkttah Ward No 4. At the direction of the Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav, a police team was formed under the SDPO and the police team conducted raid at the shop of Pappu Lal Ram and seized 300 grams of contraband ganja from the shop and also arrested two drug peddlers, Pappu Lal Ram and Anup Kumar Singh.
