BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST THREE MISCREANTS WITH FIREARMS AND AMMUNATION

ARA--------------------------Bhojpur police, acting on a tip off, arrested three miscreants from two different places in Bhojpur district and also seized firearms from them. The arrested miscreants were identified as Prakash Kumar son of Bharat Yadav of Ward No 10 under Shahpur police station, Ritesh Kumar son of Manbodh Yadav of the same Ward and Pradeep Kumar son of Binod Rai of Rampur village under Chandi police station in Bhojpur district. The police recovered three country made pistols, seven live cartridges, two magazines, two mobiles and a motorcycle from them.

SHO Shahpur police station said that the police got some photographs that had become viral on the social media in which two persons were seen with pistols and cartridges. After verification, a police team conducted raids at the houses of both of them at Ward No 10 under Shahpur police station and arrested Prakash Kumar son of Bharat Yadav of Ward No 10 under Shahpur police station, Ritesh Kumar son of Manbodh Yadav of the same Ward and when the police searched, the police recovered two country made pistols, two magazines, two mobiles, four live cartridges and a motorcycle from them. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Shahpur police station against them under the Arms Act and the police sent them to jail after interrogation.

In another incident, SHO Chandi police station said that the police got information that a person was seen with firearms at Jalpura Musahari village under Chandi police station. After verification, the police reached there and arrested a youth Pradeep Kumar son of Binod Rai from Jalpura Musahari village and also seized a country made pistol, three live cartridges and a motorcycle from them. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Chandi police station against him under the Arms Act. Later the police sent him to jail after interrogation.
