BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST THREE MISCREANTS, SEIZED ARMS

ARA---------------------------Bhojpur police arrested three miscreants from near Chhotaki Babura under Badahara police station in Bhojpur district after six months in connection with loot from a truck driver of Uttar Pradesh and recovered a country made pistol, three live cartridges, mobile and Rs. 700 in cash from their possession. The arrested miscreants were identified as Vishal Kumar alias Ranjan son of Shyam Bahadur Rai, Arjun Kumar son of Uma Shankar Rai and Lalu Kumar son of Vijay Rai of Chakia village under Doriganj police station in Saran district.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that some armed miscreants had looted Adhar Card, mobile, cash at pistol point from a driver Afjal Ansari son of Abdul Rauf of Dhuria Imilia village of Kushinagar district in Uttar Pradesh on February 12, 2023 near Babura Bridge on Koelwar-Chhapara main road. Meanwhile, the SP got information that three armed miscreants involved in the loot case on February 12, 2023 was seen around Badahara village. Immediately vehicle checking drive was launched near Babura Bridge. Three persons on a motorcycle were seen coming. Seeing the police they tried to escape but the police chased and caught them. The SP further said that some miscreants entered Bhojpur district from other district during Sand season and fled away after committing loot in the area. .
