BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST SIX PERSONS INCLUDING A SAP PERSONNEL FOR REALIZING MONEY FROM THE SAND LABOURS
Bhojpur police arrested six persons including a SAP personnel taking money from the sand labourers engaged in illegal mining of sand from the river Sone under Koelwar police station. The police also seized Rs. 2600 in cash from them. The arrested SAP personnel posted in the Mines Department in Bhojpur district and he was deputed on the bank of the river of Sone to check illegal ferrying of boats loaded with illegal sand.

ARA--------------------------Bhojpur police arrested six persons including a SAP personnel taking money from the sand labourers engaged in illegal mining of sand from the river Sone under Koelwar police station. The police also seized Rs. 2600 in cash from them. The arrested SAP personnel posted in the Mines Department in Bhojpur district and he was deputed on the bank of the river of Sone to check illegal ferrying of boats loaded with illegal sand. The arrested persons were identified as SAP personnel Vashishth Narayan Singh 58 son of Dev Dayal Singh of Kunjawa village under Bihata police station in Patna district and is presently posted in the Mines Department of Bhojpur district, a boat driver Dheeraj Kumar 25 son of Ram Sujan Singh of Ratan Tola under Maner police station in Patna district, Amit Kumar 18 son of Janardan Singh, Saheb Kumar 25 son of Ram Babu Rai, Neeraj Kumar 26 son of Shailendra Rai and Nitesh Kumar 25 son of Yogendra Prasad of Haldi Chhapara Saataana. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Koelwar police station against them in this regard and later the police sent them to jail after interrogation.
SHO Koelwar police station said that he got information that SAP personnel, boat driver and some others were realizing money from the boats loaded with illegal sand. The SHO said that when they were returning after realizing money, the police conducted raids and arrested them and also seized nine mobiles, Rs. 2600 in cash and an uniform used by the paramilitary force.
