BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST SIX MISCREANTS FOR MURDER OF A BAKERY SHOP OWNER

Ara, 29 June 2023, (RNI): Bhojpur police heaved a sigh of relief after they arrested six miscreants including the liner, shooters and conspirator in connection with murder of a Bakery shop owner Manohar alias Minchi at Raja Bazaar under Bihia police station on June 10, 2023 and thus claimed to solve the murder mystery. The police also seized a country made pistol used in the murder, a motorcycle and three mobiles. The arrested miscreants were identified as Guddu Yadav of Jamua, Kamlesh Yadav alias Kamalvas Yadav, Umesh Yadav alias Tabela Yadav of Fulayi village, Lal Babu Prasad of Bihia Ward No 8, Dashai Yadav of Dharahara and Dhan Jee Nat of Belwania village under Bihia police station in Bhojpur district.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that some armed miscreants shot dead a bakery shop owner Manohar alias Minchi 34 son of Santosh Kumar at Raja Bazaar Ward No 8 under Bihia police station on June 10, 2023 on the pretext of cake. Father of the deceased had lodged an FIR with the police under Bihia police station against unknown persons in this regard. After institution of FIR, the SP formed a police team under the SDPO, Jagdishpur Rajeev Chandra Singh and the police team following technical sources arrested six miscreants including the conspirator in the murder and on their revelation, the police recovered a country made pistol, one motorcycle used in the murder and three mobiles.

The SP further said that wife of Lal Babu Prasad Bihia Ward No. 8 used to sew and she also sew cloths of Manohar’s family and so both used to visit each other’s houses. In the process, both fell in love and met with each other in secluded house in the village. Meanwhile Lal Babu Prasad got the clue that his wife had illicit relation with Manohar alias Minchi. Infuriated, he hatched a plan to kill Manohar and to execute his plan, Lal Babu Prasad hired  professional criminals and gave a contract of Rs. 1.5 lakh to kill Manohar alias Minchi. He gave Rs. 80,000 as advance for the work and the miscreants killed Manohar and escaped through the village.
