BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST MOTHER AND SON FOR MURDER OF A DJ OWNER IN BHOJPUR DISTRICT

ARA (RNI) Bhojpur police solved the murder mystery of Shobhi Dumara village under Ara Muffassil police station within 24 hours. Love affair was said to be the cause behind the incident.  Neeraj Kumar, a Disk Jockey (DJ) owner was killed by his beloved Anita Devi and her son Ankit Paswan at Shobhi Dumara village under Ara Muffassil police station. Anita Devi and Ankit Paswan called Neeraj Kumar to their house and thrashed him to death with a wooden cane. Packed the body into a plastic bag and threw it in a brinjal field away from the house to erase evidence. Police arrested the beloved Anita Devi and her son Ankit Paswan of Shobhi Dumara under Ara Muffasil police station and sent them to jail after interrogation. Both have confessed their crime. Police also found blood splatters from the roof of their house. The police could solve the murder mystery with the help of scientific and technical research.

Bhojpur SP Neeraj Kumar Singh said that Neeraj Kumar son of Harendra Kumar of Shobhi Dumara under Ara Muffassil police station had gone to the house of Sonu Paswan with his DJ on May 10, 2024 in the night where the DJ was to be played during a function in the house. Professional dancers were also called to perform in the function. Neeraj Kumar reportedly danced till 3am and did not return home and his body was found from brinjal filed on the bank of river Ganga in the village in the morning on May 11, 2024 that created chaos in the village and the police had to face wrath of the people. The SP said that he at once formed a police team under the ASP Parichay Kumar to solve the murder mystery and arrest of miscreants as the case was completely blind. The police started investigating the matter taking help of scientific and technical research and a team of Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) has also been requisitioned. The Police also inspected the house of Ankit Paswan and found some blood splatters from the roof of the house. Later the police arrested Anita Devi and her son Ankit Paswan. During interrogation both confessed their crime. On their revelation, the police also recovered the wooden cane used in the murder, plastic bag in which the body was packed and also the clothes Ankit Paswan had worn at the time of incident. All the evidences are sent to the FSL for further investigation.

The SP said that Ankit Paswan was very angry because of his mother’s love affair. He hatched a plan along with mother Anita Devi and called Neeraj Kumar to his house where they killed him. He said that Neeraj Kumar was in love with a married woman Anita Devi of the village for quite some time that infuriated Ankit Paswan son of Anita Devi. He was in a fury and wanted to teach Neeraj Kumar a lesson. For this, he took his mother Anita Devi into confidence and plotted the murder. He knew that Neeraj Kumar and Sonu Paswan were friends and Neeraj Kumar must come to Sonu Paswan to attend the function. The dance programme ended at about 3am and Ankit Paswan also present in the function. As the dance programme ended, Anita Devi called Neeraj Kumar to her house. Seeing Ankit Paswan in the party, Neeraj Kumar went to meet Anita Devi. To execute his plan, Ankit Paswan followed Neeraj Kumar and mother and son killed Neeraj Kumar with a wooden cane.

Police said that as Neeraj Kumar saw Ankit Paswan at the house of his beloved Anita Devi, he tried to escape and climbed onto the roof of the house where Anita Devi and Ankit Paswan caught Neeraj Kumar and thrashed him with wooden cane and killed him. Later they packed the body into a plastic bag and threw it in a brinjal field away from the house to erase evidence. They also washed the blood splatter on the roof and the blood stain on the cloths.
