BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST FOUR MISCREANTS WITH FIREARMS

ARA (RNI) Bhojpur police, acting on a tip off, arrested four miscreants including three history shitters from near the bank of the river Ganga at Shivpur Ghat under Bahoranpur police station in Bhojpur district and recovered one country made pistol, three live cartridges, two mobiles, two motorcycles and 47 litres of India Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) from them. The arrested miscreants were identified as Ritik Rai alias Sheshnath Rai of Baraja village under Bihia police station, Jitesh Thakur alias Mallik son of Manoj Thakur of Gaura village under Bahoranpur police station, Rahul Rai son of Ravindra Rai and Pawan Paswan son of Birbal Paswan of Sarangpur village under Bahoranpur police station in Bhojpur district. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Bahoranpur police station against them under the New Excise Act and also under Arms Act. Later the police sent them to jail after interrogation.

Bhojpur SP Mister Raj said that the police got information that four miscreants had assembled at the Shivpur Ganga Ghat under Bahoranpur police station with firearms and IMFL. After verification, the SHO Bahoranpur police station Sushant Kumar along with police force went there and arrested all the four miscreants and seized one country made pistol, three live cartridges, two mobiles, two motorcycles and 47 litre of IMFL from them.

The SP further said that Rahul Kumar was absconding in an Arms Act while Shesh Nath Rai alias Ritik Rai had been in jail in connection with loot and Arms Act under Koelwar police station and he was absconding in liquor case under Dhobaha police station and Arms Act under Bihia police station and Jitesh Thakur alias Mallik was absconding in firing at the cloth businessman under Krishnagarh police station and Arms Act under Bihia police station.
