BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST FOUR MISCREANTS WITH FIREARMS

ARA------------------------Bhojpur police, acting on a tip off, arrested four miscreants from poultry farm at Pakariyabad village under Gajrajganj police station in Bhojpur district while hatching plan to commit crime and recovered a country made pistol and 10 live cartridges from their possession though a dreaded criminal wanted in several criminal cases succeeded in fleeing from the scene. The arrested miscreants were identified as Alok Raj of Pakariyabad village under Gajrajganj police outpost, Ramashankar of Ramdihara village under Gadhani police station, Shashank Kumar of Pakadi Chowk and Manjit Kumar of Maulabagh under Nawada police station. The absconding miscreant was identified as Chandan Mahato of Pakadiyabad village. Police are conducting raids to arrest him. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Gajrajganj police outpost against five miscreants and the police sent them to jail after interrogation.

ASP Chandra Prakash said that he got information that some miscreants had assembled at a poultry farm of dossier Chandan Mahato at Pakadiyabad village under Gajrajganj police outpost and all the five were hatching plan to commit crime. Taking it seriously, he formed a police team under the SHO Gajrajganj police outpost Hari Prasad Sharma. The police conducted raid at Pakadiyabar village and arrested four miscreants with firearms and ammunition though a dreaded criminal escaped from the scene.
