BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST FOUR MEMBER OF FAUDSTER GANG AND RECOVERED CERTIFICATES OF A DOZEN STUDENTS

ARA-------------------------Bhojpur police busted an inter-district gang involved in fraudulently extracting money from unemployed youths in the name of passing in the STET examination and arrested four members of the gang. The police recovered at least a dozen certificates of students, four mobiles and Rs. 20,000 in cash. The arrested fraudsters were identified as Sandeep Kumar of Narbirpur, Pankaj Kumar of Chandi villages under Chandi police station in Bhojpur district, Uday Kumar Ojha of Agaudhar Nanda village under Ishuapur police station in Chhapara and Shankar Sah of Mirjumala village under Bhagwanpur Halt police station in Siwan. A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Ara town police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the mastermind of the gang.

SHO Ara town police station Sanjeev Kumar said that the police got information that some outsiders had come to a garden of a private school at Dhanupura under Ara town police station and were getting the certificates of students submitted by giving allurement of passing the STET examination. He at once along with police force conducted raids. Seeing the police all the four fraudsters tried to escape but the police chased and caught them. The police also recovered at least a dozen certificates of students from Gopalganj, Siwan, Patna and other parts of Bihar, four mobiles and Rs. 20,000 in cash from them.

The SHO said that the police found several admit cards and papers of different examinations from WhatsApp chat. He said that these fraudsters had promised the youths to make the forms of STET examination available through WhatsApp chatting. The fraudsters confessed that they allured the unemployed youths wandering in different districts to pass them in the examination. They got the certificates of youths submitted once the rate of contact is fixed. They promised to give the amount after passing the examination and the certificates would be returned after that. They realized the money from the youths. During interrogation they revealed that Manish Kumar of Bhagalpur was their mastermind
