BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST FOUR DRUG SMUGGLERS, SEIZED 140 PACKETS OF HEROIN

ARA---------------------------Bhojpur police arrested three drug smugglers and also seized 100 packets of heroin from him. The police also seized a scooty and three mobiles. The arrested drug smugglers were identified as Pintu Kumar of Saguna Mor of Danapur, Rahul Kumar son of Krishna Chandra Yadav and Vikas son of Shyam Narayan Paswan of Gausganj under Ara town police station in Bhojpur district. They have criminal background. A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Ara town police station against them and the police sent them to jail after interrogation.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that he got information that three persons had assembled near Gangi under Ara town police station with drug and were heading towards Bhaluhipur to deal in drug. He at one formed a police under the SHO Ara town police station. The police team launched vehicle checking drive at Bhaluhipur Dam. Meanwhile three persons came on a scooty but seeing the police they tried to escape but the police chased and caught them. When searched, the police recovered 100 packets of heroin. The police arrested them and seized the scooty and three mobiles. The SP said that during interrogation, the arrested drug smugglers confessed their involvement in drug smuggling. The SP stated that several mobile numbers are found from their mobiles and the police are trying to arrest drug smugglers on the basis of the mobile numbers.

In another incident, Bhojpur police arrested drug smuggler and seized 40 gram of heroin from him from Gangi-Gausganj area under Ara town police station during vehicle checking campaign. The arrested drug smuggler was identified as Shashi Ranjan Ram of Gausganj area under Ara town police station. A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Ara town police station under the NDPS and sent him to jail after interrogation.

ASP Nishchay Kumar said that he got information in the late night that Shashi Ranjan Ram along with his uncle Chetan Paswan of Gausganj locality under Ara town police station was to deal in drugs Tri-junction of the area. He at once formed a police under the SHO Ara town police station Devraj Rai and the police swung into action and launched vehicle checking drive at Gausganj locality. During vehicle checking, the police caught a person ad seized 40 gram of heroin from his possession.
