BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST FATHER AND SON FOR FIRING

ARA------------------------------Bhojpur police arrested two persons from Angarua village under Tier police station of Bihia block in Bhojpur district and sent them to jail in connection with shooting and injuring a youth of the village Vivek Kumar alias Lal Bahadur Ram over land dispute. The arrested persons were identified as Birendra Prasad and his son Arun Prasad.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that Vivek Kumar alias Lal Bahadur Ram was sleeping in the hallway of his house at Angarua village under Tier police station of Bihia block in Bhojpur district in the night on July 1, 2024 when Birendra Kumar along with his son Arun Prasad jumped over the wall and entered the house and asked Vivek Kumar to vacate the hallway that caused altercation and abuse on both the sides. Meanwhile, Birendra Prasad shot at and injured Vivek Kumar alias Lal Bahadur Ram and escaped from the scene. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Tier police station in this regard. After institution of FIR, the SP formed a police team under the SDPO, Jagdishpur. The police team acting in a tip off, arrested Birendra Prasad and his son Arun Prasad and sent them to jail after interrogation.
