BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST DRUG PEDDLER WITH 7.5KG OF GANJA

Ara, 23 June 2023, (RNI): Bhojpur police, acting on a tip off, arrested a drug peddler from near Dak Bungalow Chowk under Bihia police station in Bhojpur district in the morning seized 7.5 kilogram of ganja. The arrested drug peddler was identified as Ranjan Kumar Pandey son of Krishna Pandey of Panchawati Ward No 8 under Bihia police station. 

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that he got information that a drug peddler was passing through the Bihia railway station with ganja. He at once formed a police team under the leadership of SDPO Jagdishpur Rajeev Chandra Singh. As he reached near Dak Bungalow Chowk under Bihia police station, the police caught him and recovered 7.5 kilogram of contraband ganja from his possession. A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Bihia police station against him and the police sent him to jail after interrogation. The SP said that several complaints against Ranjan Kumar Pandey were received regarding carrying of ganja and the police are looking for him.
