BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST AN AWARDEE OF Rs.1 LAKH

ARA----------------------------Bhojpur police with the help of their Rohtas counterpart arrested a naxal, bearing an award of Rs. 1 lakh on his head from Ganua village under Ayarjkotha police station in Rohtas district and brought him to Bhojpur. The arrested naxal was identified as Vijay Singh alias Sunil Singh alias Sunil Paswan son of Siya Ram Yadav of Babubandh village under Chauri police station in Bhojpur district. He absconding since long and was living at Ganua village in disguise of Sunil Paswan. Later the police sent him to jail after interrogation. The police heaved a sigh of relief after his arrest.

SHO Ayarkotha police station Kusum Kumar Kesari said that the SHO Charpokhari police station along with STF came to the police station and told him that a naxal had taken shelter at Ganua village. He said that the Rohtas police at one accompanied the Bhojpur police and conducted raid at Ganua village and arrested the naxal. He was living there for years in disguise of Sunil Paswan. A named FIR No. 198/2015 had been lodged with the police under Charpokhari police station but since he was absconding. Police was searching for him. Meanwhile the Charpokhari police got information that the naxal was living at Ganua village in disguise and at last the police succeeded in arresting him.
