Bhojpur police, acting on a tip off, conducted raid at Kadari village under Dobaha police station in Bhojpur district and arrested an absconder who wore an awardee of Rs. 50,000 on his head in connection with murder of a private teacher of Udaybhanpur under Krishnagarh police station. The police also recovered a country made pistol, two live cartridges and a mobile from him.

ARA-----------------------Bhojpur police, acting on a tip off, conducted raid at Kadari village under Dobaha police station in Bhojpur district and arrested an absconder who wore an awardee of Rs. 50,000 on his head in connection with murder of a private teacher of Udaybhanpur under Krishnagarh police station. The police also recovered a country made pistol, two live cartridges and a mobile from him. The miscreant was identified as Dimple Mahato alias Durgesh Kumar son of Vijay Mahato of Kadari village under Dobaha police station in Bhojpur district.
SDPO-2 Ranjeet Kumar Singh said that some armed miscreants had entered the house of a private teacher Vijay Shankar Singh at Udaybhanpur village under Krishnagarh police station and pumped at least 16 bullets into his body from point blank range and killed him on December 22, 2024 merely for refusing to settle a case. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Krishnagarh police station in this regard on the statement of the elder brother of the deceased in this regard on December 23, 2024 against Chandan Singh of Bhadeya village under Dobaha police station, Dimple Mahato of Karadi village, Rajan Singh of Ama village, Balwant Singh, Shankar Singh, Ganesh Singh, Deepak Yadav of Lekhi Tola under Badahara police station, Chandan Singh, Sagar Singh and Munna Singh. Since the murder Dimple Mahato was absconding and the police Headquarter had announced an award of Rs. 50,000 on his head.
The SDPO further said that meanwhile, the police got information that Dimple Mahato was seen in his village at Kadari and so a police team was sent there and the police team conducted raid at Kadari village and arrested Dimple Mahato and also recovered a country made pistol, two live cartridges and one mobile from him. The SDPO stated that Dimple Mahato had criminal background and several criminal cases are pending with the police under Ara Muffasil and Dobaha police stations against him. Later the police sent him to jail after interrogation.
