BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST AN AWARDEE OF Rs. 50,000
-Bhojpur police arrested a miscreant bearing an award of Rs. 50,000 on his head from near Gajrajganj Over Bridge under Gajrajganj police outpost and sent him to jail. He was also counted among the top 10 miscreant in Bhojpur district.
ARA (RNI) Bhojpur police arrested a miscreant bearing an award of Rs. 50,000 on his head from near Gajrajganj Over Bridge under Gajrajganj police outpost and sent him to jail. He was also counted among the top 10 miscreant in Bhojpur district. The arrested miscreant was identified as Chandan Mahato son of Amir Chand Mahato of Pakadiyabar village under Udwantnagar police station in Bhojpur district. With his arrest the police heaved a sigh of relief.
DSP (Probation) Rashmi Kumari said that the police got information that a dreaded criminal Chandan Mahato was seen near Gajrajganj over Bridge under the Udwantnagar police station and was looking for commit some crime. A police team under her was formed and the police gheraoed the area and arrested Chandan Mahato. The DSP stated that at least half a dozen criminal cases are pending against Chandan Mahato with the Ara, Badahara and Udwantnagar police stations in Bhojpur district. An award of Rs. 50,000 has been announced on his head and he was including among the list of 10 top most criminals of Bhojpur district.
