BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST AN AWARDEE OF Rs. 1 LAKH WITH FIREARMS

ARA--------------------------------Bhojpur police, acting on a tip off, arrested a dreaded criminal and an awardee of Rs. 1 lakh on his head from Nawada village under Sahar police station in Bhojpur district and also seized a country made pistol and 25 live cartridges from him and heaved a sigh of relief. The arrested miscreant was identified as Vishwajeet Kumar Yadav alias Tezu son of Virendra Yadav of Nawada village under Sahar police station.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that he got information that an absconder and a dreaded criminal wanted in dozens of criminal cases in different district of Bihar who carried an award on Rs. 1 lakh on his head Vishwajeet Kumar Yadav alias Tezu son of Birendra Yadav had come to his native village Nawada under Sahar police station in Bhojpur district to settle a land dispute in the village and was looking to commit a crime. He at once swung into action and formed a police team that conducted raid at Nawada village to arrest the miscreant. Seeing the police a youth tried to escape but the police chased and arrested him and when searched, the police seized a country made pistol and 25 live cartridges from his possession. The youth was identified as Vishwajeet Kumar Yadav alias Tezu son of Birendra Yadav of Nawada village.
