BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST AN AWARDEE OF Rs. 1 LAKH FROM PATNA

ARA--------------------------Bhojpur police with the help of their Patna counterpart arrested a dreaded criminal, bearing an award of Rs. 1 lakh on his head along with his aide and brought them to Ara. Later the police sent them to jail after interrogation. With their arrest, police heaved a sigh of relief. The arrested miscreants were identified as Belal Mian son of Nizamuddin of Abarpul area under Ara town police station and Md. Yunuz son of Md. Parvez of Machhua Toli under Ara town police station in Bhojpur district. Belal Mian was accused in the connection with demanding of extortion from a property dealer Pappu Khan.

Bhojpur SP Mister Raj said that Belal Mian is a dreaded criminal and at least 15 criminal cases are pending against him including murder, extortion, Arms Act and attempt to murder and he was absconding since long and so the police headquarter had announced an award of Rs. 1 lakh on him. Meanwhile, the police got information that Belal Mian along with his aide had taken shelter at Karbigaha area under the same police station in Patna. He at once formed police station comprising team of DIU that wen to Patna and with the help of their counterpart there, the police arrested Belal Mian and his aide Md. Yunz. The police brought them to Ara and the police sent them to jail after interrogation. The SP further said that the police had already arrested six of his aides earlier who are languishing in the jail while Belal Mian was absconding since.
