BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST AN ABSCONDER

Ara (RNI) Bhojpur police arrested a murder accused and absconder from Pakadi locality under Nawada police station and sent him to jail after interrogation. The absconder was identified as Binod Kahar of Pakadi locality under Nawada police station.

SHO Nawada police station said that Shiv Jee Prasad of Tari Mohalla under Ara town police station was beaten to death at South Ramana Road under Nawada police station on August 29, 2024. An FIR was lodged with the police under Nawada police station against five persons in this regard on the statement of Manoj Kumar son of the deceased. After institution of FIR, the police swung into action and arrested four persons earlier and landed them in the jail though Binod Kahar was absconding since. Meanwhile, the police got information that he had come to his house at Pakadi. The police at once conducted raid and arrested Binod Kahar. The SHO further said that Binod Kahar had criminal background and was wanted in murder, attempt to murder and Arms Act cases.
