BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST A YOUTH FOR POSTING VIDEO WITH FIREARMS ON INSTAGRAM

ARA--------------------------Bhojpur police arrested a youth from a resort at bypass road under Ara town police station in connection with posting his live video on the Instagram ID with firearms. The police also recovered a live cartridge and a mobile from him. The arrested youth was identified as Satyam alias Chhotu son of Harendra Chaudhary of Katira locality under Nawada police station.

Bhojpur SP Mister Raj said that the Ara town police station got information at about 10.15pm on November 27, 2024 that a youth Chhotu had come live on the Instagram ID with firearms and he is at present in a resort near Sapana Cinema Mor. After verification, a police team conducted raid at the resort and arrested Satyam alias Chhotu from there. During interrogation, Chhotu said that he had come live from his residence at Katira. The police searched his house and recovered a live cartridge and a mobile from his pocket but no firearms could be found. An FIR was lodged with the police under Ara town police station in this regard under the Arms Act.
