BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST A THIEF, RECOVERED LOOTED ARTICLES

Ara, 21 April 2023, (RNI): Bhojpur police arrested a miscreant and recovered goods worth about lakhs of rupees and a motorcycle from Araila village under Pawana police station. The arrested miscreant was identified as Bismillah alias Noor Hassan son of Md Moharram of Araila village under Pawana police station.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that some miscreants had stolen goods worth lakhs of rupees from a newly constructed house near old Petrol Pump at Araila village under Pawana police station in the night on April 14, 2023. The owner of the house Alakh Niranjan lodged an FIR with the police under Pawana police station in this regard. After institution of FIR, he formed a police team under the ASP Chandra Prakash. The police team following technical support and local input, arrested Bismillah alias Noor Hassan son of Md Moharram from his house at Araila village. The police recovered stolen electric Banjo, electric cooker, CCTV camera, leather jacket, invertor, emergency light, 20 meter electric wire, towel, purdah and other items from there. The police also recovered a stolen motorcycle.

The SP said that Noor Hassan had been a habituated thief and a case of theft is pending with the police under Ara town police station a year ago and he was arrested at that time.

Alakh Niranjan had a two storeyed building in front of Old Pawana petrol pump. Some construction work was still going on and so all the family members were lived at Ara. They were also not present in the night of April 14, 2023 and the house at Pawana was closed and the taking advantage of the situation, the thief broke into the house and decamped with the booty worth lakhs of rupees.
