BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST A RAPIST AND AWARDEE OF Rs. 25,000

ARA-------------------------Bhojpur police arrested an awardee of Rs. 25,000 from Chandi police station under Charpokhari police station in Bhojpur district. The arrested miscreant was identified as Rakesh Kumar son of Sriram Yash Sah of Andhari village under Chauri police station. Later the police sent him to jail after interrogation.

Bhojpur SP Mister Raj said that one teenage girl was raped at a village under Chauri police station in the night on February 9, 2020 and an FIR was lodged with the police under Chauri police station against two named and one unnamed person on the statement of the girl. Since the rapist was absconding.

The SHO Chauri police station Vivek Kumar said that the arrested miscreant was an unnamed accused and his named had figured during investigation. The SHO further said that the police had already arrested the named accused in this regard and were landed in jail. They were also undergoing punishment
