BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST A MISCREANT WITH FIREARMS

Ara (RNI): Bhojpur police, acting on a tip off arrested a wanted miscreant from Sandesh Bazaar and also seized a country made pistol, two live cartridges, one mobile and a stolen motorcycle from his possession. The arrested miscreant was identified as Pradumn Kumar of Tirthkaul village under Sandesh police station. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Sandesh police station under Arms Act and criminal conspiracy. Later the police sent him to jail after interrogation.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that he got information that a miscreant was loitering with firearms near Harshit Restaurant at Sandesh Bazaar under Sandesh police station in the evening. A police team under the ASP Chandra Prakash conducted raid in the area and arrested Pradumn Kumar and recovered a country made pistol, two live cartridges, one mobile and a looted motorcycle from his possession. The SP further said that several criminal cases are pending against Pradumn Kumar with the police station under different police stations in Bhojpur district including realizing of extortion from truck drivers under -Azimabad police station, loot from a CSP owner under Chauri police station and attempt to murder under Sandesh police station.
