BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST A MISCREANT WITH FIREARMS

ARA-------------------------Bhojpur police arrested a dreaded criminal wanted in murders in Bhojpur in Bihar and also in Jamshedpur in Jharkhand from near Paswan Chowk at Majhauwa Dam under Ara town police station. The arrested miscreant was identified as Manoj Dubey alias Radhe alias Monu a resident of Salempur village under Dhobaha police outpost in Bhojpur district. The police also recovered a country made pistol and two live cartridges from his possession. The police also got a video of the miscreant in which he was seen making reel with pistols in his both hands in a car. Police are also searching his pending cases. Later the police sent him to jail after interrogation.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that the Bhojpur police and Senari police of East Sinhbhumui (Jamshedpur) were hunting to arrest Manoj Dubey. The police had pasted proclamation notice on the wall of the house of Manoj Dubey at Salempur village.

The SP said that an intermediate student Raju alias Rounak son of Devendra Kumar of Devrath village under Badahara police station in Bhojpur district was shot dead on Pakadi Gas Agency-Mission road under Nawada police station on August 23, 2023 and an FIR was lodged with the police under Nawada police station on the statement of the father of the deceased against unknown persons. Friends also misguided the police and the family members. They had told the police that five friends Mohit Kumar, Rahu Kumar, Ankul Kumar, Rohit Kumar and Chandan Kumar in an auto-rickshaw were going to a hospital at Mahavir Tola with the food of the wife of Mohit Kumar who was admitted there for delivery and when motorcycle borne two miscreants came near Ramana Maidan and shot at and injured Rounak. They rushed him to Ara Sadar Hospital but the doctor referred him to the Patna Medical College and Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment but the technical cell took the matter seriously and traced the house situated at Maulabagh where the shooting incident had took place and recovered a blood stained cloth from there. On the basis of investigation the police arrested Ankush Pandey, Rohit Yadav, Mohit Kumar of Devrath village, Raju Kumar of Panditpur village under Badahara police station and Chandan Kumar of Belaur village under Udwantnagar police station. During interrogation, they revealed the name of Manoj Dubey alias Radhe alias Monu Dubey. They also told the police that the pistol used in the murder was kept with Manoj Dubey.

The SP further said that one Deepak Kumar Singh was shot dead at Sonari locality in East Singhbhoom (Jamshedpur) in Jharkhand on March 11, 2023 for mediating in a marriage and the police arrested four persons including Rohit Singh under Udwantnagar police station in Bhojpur district and sent them to jail in the regard. During investigation, the name of Manoj Dubey came to light but he was absconding. So the court issued proclamation notice and the notice was pasted on the wall of the house of Manoj Dubey at Salempur on July 19, 2023. Meanwhile, it came to light that miscreants were given contact of Rs. 3 lakh for the murder of Deepak Kumar Singh and all the miscreants had gone to Jharkhand from Bhojpur.
