BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST A MISCREANT WITH FIREARMS

Ara (RNI) Bhojpur police foiled bid to commit crime and arrested a youth with a country made pistol in Bhojpur district.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that he got information that three youths were seen at Badahara under the same police station on a motorcycle were going somewhere to commit crime. He at once sent a police team there to arrest them. Seeing the police, the miscreants tried to escape but the police chased and arrested one of them and recovered a country made pistol and a motorcycle from his possession. The arrested miscreant was identified as Ajay Singh alias Chhote Lal of Padariya village under Badahara police station. During interrogation, he confessed that he along with some youths was going to commit crime. The SP said that the police team is conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Badahara police station in this regard and the police later sent him to jail after interrogation.
