BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST A MISCREANT FOR MURDER

ARA--------------------------Bhojpur police with their Rohtas counterpart arrested a miscreant from the Sasaram Bus stand at Sasaram in Rohtas district in connection with murder of Akhil Singh at Sedaha village under Trari police station in Bhojpur district on August 11, 2024. Later the police sent him to jail after interrogation.

Piro SDPO Rahul Singh said that Akhil Singh was making money by selling his ancestral property at a penny after the death of his parents. Krishna Singh alias Munna Singh had given Rs. 7 lakh to Akhil Singh for a piece of land. As Akhil Singh neither registered the land nor returned the money to Krishna Singh alias Munna Singh, a plan was hatched against him. Akhil Singh was invited at a picnic party where he was drunk and later shot dead. Uncle of the deceased lodged an FIR with the police under Tarari police station against unknown persons. The SP formed a police team under the SHO Tarari police station Bhaskar Kumar. During interrogation, the police team arrested Krishna Singh alias Munna Singh from Sasaram Bus Stand at Sasaram in Rohtas district along with a Swift Car, two mobiles and cash. Later the police sent him to jail after interrogation. The SDPO said that Krishna Singh alias Munna Singh has criminal history. A number of cases are pending under SC/ST police station against him.
