BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST A GANJA SMUGGLER, SEIZE 7 Kg OF GANJA

ARA-------------------------Bhojpur police arrested a ganja smuggler, member of inter-State gang, from Makhdumpur village under Bihia police station in Bhojpur district in connection with dealing in ganja and also seized 7 kg of ganja. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Bihia police station in this regard and the police sent him to jail after interrogation. The arrested ganja smuggler was identified as Guddu Singh alias Ram Pratap Singh of Makhdumpur village under Bihia police station.

Bhojpur SP Mister Raj said that the DIU team got information that Guddu Singh alias Ram Pratap Singh of Makhdumpur village under Bihia police station was dealing in ganja in his village. Taking it seriously, the SP formed a police under the SHO Bihia police station and the police station along with the Bihia CO deputed as magistrate, conducted raid at the house of Guddu Singh alias Ram Pratap Singh and arrested him. The police also seized 7 kg of ganja from there.

The SP said that Guddu Singh alias Ram Pratap Singh is a member of Inter-State gang of smuggler and is a big supplier. He added that named FIRs were lodged against him in the year 2011, 2015, 2017 under Bihia town police station, in the year 2011 under Ara town police station and in 2013 under Gandhi Maidan police station in Patna under the NDPS Act. Besides, the Haryana police had arrested him on October 10, 2023. He was arrested and was sent to jail for 10 years in a case related to NDPS under Bihia police station and had come out of the jail on bail in the month of April this year and after that he again involved in ganja smuggling. The SP stated that the police are investigating the matter related to him and also are trying to contact the Haryana police to know detail about him.
