BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST A DRUG PEDDLER, SEIZE 95 PACKETS OF HEROIN

ARA--------------------------Bhojpur police, acting on a tip off, conducted raid at a house at Gangi-Gausganj under Ara town police station in Bhojpur district and arrested a drug peddler along with 95 packets of heroin. The arrested drug peddler was identified as Manu Paswan son of late Ramnarayan Paswan of Gausganj under Ara town police station. A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Ara town police station under NDPS Act and the police sent him to jail after interrogation.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that he got a confidential report that heroin is kept in a house near Gausganj locality under Ara town police station and mother and son are involved in drug peddling. He immediately formed a police team under the SDPO Chandra Prakash and the police team conducted raid at the house at Gangi-Gausganj locality under Ara town police station and arrested Manu Paswan with 95 packets of heroin. The SP said that the police are conducting raids continuously under the NDPS Act to curb drug peddling.
