BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST A DRUG PEDDLER, SEIZE 218 GRAM OF HEROIN

ARA---------------------------Bhojpur police, acting on a tip off, arrested a drug peddler from eastern railway over Bridge under Nawada police station and seized 218gram of heroin from his possession. The arrested drug peddler was identified as Raju Kumar son of late Shiv Narayan Gupta of Ekta Nagar, Bihari Mill under Nawada police station. A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Nawada police station against the drug peddler under NDPC Act and the police sent him to jail after interrogation.

SHO Nawada police station Kamal Jeet said that he got information that a youth was dealing in heroin at Ara. He at once swung into action and formed a police team under him and conducted raid near Eastern Railway Over Bridge under Nawada police station. Seeing the police, the youth tried to escape but the police chased and arrested him. When searched, the police recovered 218 gram of heroin from him.
