The progress of revenue related works in Bhojpur district is very poor. In the ranking determined by the Bihar Government based on the performance of various Revenue Department works including filing, mutation, measurement, encroachment cases, settlement, none of the 14 zones of the Bhojpur district is ranked within 100. Udwantnagar Circle Zone is ranked 330 while Koelwar is ranked 521 in Bhojpur district.

ARA------------------------The progress of revenue related works in Bhojpur district is very poor. In the ranking determined by the Bihar Government based on the performance of various Revenue Department works including filing, mutation, measurement, encroachment cases, settlement, none of the 14 zones of the Bhojpur district is ranked within 100. Udwantnagar Circle Zone is ranked 330 while Koelwar is ranked 521 in Bhojpur district. Taking this matter seriously, the Additional Collector has ordered to constitute ‘Form A’ against four Circle Officers of four zones. It is noteworthy that on the basis of better progress in execution of revenue related works, the Revenue Department has determined ranking in which different weightage points have been set for different revenue related works. The region has been given 50% weightage points for its filling and disposal of cases. The ranking has been determined on the basis of 100% weightage marks including modification with 10% weightage and LPC with 5% weightage points. It should be known that in which ranking of the State, the areas of Bhojpur district have a bad rank. It is noteworthy that after the ranking of circles released by the government, District Magistrate, Bhojpur Raj Kumar and the Additional Collector Manoj Kumar Jha held a meeting with the Circle Officers and reviewed the revenue work in which the ADM criticized the COs who are not taking keen interest in the revenue works and were negligent in the work. He ordered to constitute Form A against the COs of Badahara, Sahar and Agiaw and Revenue Officer of Ara Sadar.
Manoj Kumar Jha said that the progress of the work of DCLR, Ara Sadar has become better than before due to which the ranking of the DCLR has improved in the state. One who was earlier ranked 90 has now come to 75th rank. Strict instructions have been given to all the Circle Officers to improve the ranking of their respective areas.
