BHOJPUR IS SELECTED FOR PMS

Ara, 10 July 2023, (RNI): In the light of Patna High Court Monitoring regarding warrant, attachment and summons, the ADG modernization and SCRB Dr Kamal Kishore Singh told the Bhojpur police officials that Bhojpur district is the first district in Bihar which is selected for the implementation of PMS system as its performance is very good in the State.
The ADG told the police officers about the PMS, IGJS and CCTNS and also directed to implement them in toto. He focused on PMS, IGJS and CCTNS and instructed the officials to implement all the three schemes on ground. He stated that Bhojpur has been selected as a pilot project so that smart policing can be done and added that each and every police station will be given its own ID. He said that the Patna High Court tries to establish a complete system of monitoring of attachments, warrants and summons issued by the courts. He said as to how works are completed through the CCTNS and also told the officials about the Interoperable Criminal Justice System and said that it should be brought down on time in any case.
The ADG said that the police station such as SC/ST police stations and some police outpost which have no building of their own, will have their own building now as Rs. 1250 crore was sanctioned for the purpose last year and this year efforts are going on to get cent percent amount. He said that all the police stations will be monitored and it will be ascertained as to which police station is like and after that it will be repaired and the IT will be strengthened. He informed the officials about the Grih Darshan APP in detail.
This is the PMS, CCTNS and IGJS system:-
PMS—PMS i.e. Process Management is a medium to the status of attachment, warrant and arrest service of notice. Police officers and people associated with judiciary can see. The High Court monitors it.
CCTNS—Crime and Criminal Trekking Network and System which only police officers can use it. Instances have been arranged in each police station through which case diary, crime history etc can be viewed from the police station level. This is applicable only at Bihar level.
ICJS—Information can be got about the status of the prison besides the criminal court and forensic department through the Interoperable Criminal Justice System.
