ARA-----------------------Bhojpur District Magistrate Tanay Sultaniya withheld salaries of about half a dozen Child Development Project Officers (CDPO) for dereliction of duty till further order.
During the review of schemes in the meeting of district Coordination Committee, it was found that even after repeated warnings, over 90 percent of work under the Pradhan Mantri Vandan Yojana was not implemented and at least 5 CDPOs of Jagdishpur, Gadhani, Sahar and Bihia are responsible for it as they lived in the State Capital seldom bother to live at the place of their posting causing non-implementation of the schemes.
The DM reviewed all the schemes like Child Education, Birth-death certificates, Adhar Cards, Prime Minister Housing Scheme, Social Security Scheme, PDS, Pension Scheme etc. and instructed the officials to implement them quickly.
He also asked to resolve quickly all the challenges arising in implementation of schemes by increasing mutual cooperation. He also instructed to prepare roster of all the Mahadalit Tolas of the district and ordered to ensure cent percent benefits of schemes to the needy through special camps. He also instructed strictly to all Circle Officers of Bhojpur district to provide NOC of all the long pending schemes. He directed the BLOs to take cooperation of the people representatives in increasing sex ratio in the voter list of Bhjpur district by filling upi maximum number of Form 6 in each and every ward.
