BHOJPUR DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION LAUNCHED DOOR TO DOOR CAMPAIGN TO INCREASE VOTE PERCENTAGE

ARA---------------------------Under the joint leadership of the District Election Officer cum District Magistrate, Mahendra Kumar and the Superintendent of Police, Neeraj Kumar Singh ‘Har Ghar Dastak’ campaign was launched in Bhojpur district from the Khel Bhawan premises. District, Sub-Division and block level officials went door to door at most of the polling booths in Bhojpur district and distributed invitation letters among the voters with an appeal to ensure cent percent voting on June 1, 2024. In this campaign, voters of 7300 houses were canvassed by Jeevika officials while 4578 houses by Anganwadi workers, female supervisors and Child Development Project Officer, 12320 houses by Block Welfare Officer and Vikas Mitras of the Welfare Department, 23440 houses by Sub-Division, Block level officers, Sector officer and police officers, 5572 houses by the District level officers. The Bhojpur district administration set up a unique record in Bihar and reached a total of 53210 houses along with 212840 voters and gave invitation letters requesting to vote on June 1, 2024.

During door to door visit, the DM cum DEO Mahendra Kumar invited voters at booth number 242, 243 and 244 at District Agriculture Officer, Maharaja Hata of Ara Assembly Constituency and appealed that it is everyone’s responsibility to increase the percentage of voting in the festival of democracy. He also appealed to come to their respective polling booths to caste vote and also to motivate their surrounding people to participate enthusiastically and only then will there be 100 percent voting due to which our democracy will be strengthened.
