BEO VEHICLE CRUSHED TO DEATH THREE YOUTHS IN ROHTAS DISTRICT

SASARAM-------------------------Motorcycle borne three cousin brothers were killed when the Scorpio of the Block Education Officer (BEO), Dawath block collided with their motorcycle near Ramnagar Petrol Pump on Ara-Sasaram main road under Nokha police station in Rohtas district in the night. The deceased were identified as Karan Kumar alias Anshu Kumar 21 son of Rajendra Singh, Mantesh Kumar son of Ashok Singh of Mujnu village under Nokha police station and Sanjan Kumar 21 son of Jitendra Singh of Pathna village under Tilauthi police station. All the three deceased were cousin brothers. Police recovered the bodies and brought them to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Nokha police station in this regard. The police seized the Scorpio bearing registration number BR45P3483 and also arrested the driver of the vehicle Alok Kumar of Siluta village under Bikramganj police station.

SHO Nokha police station said that a marriage of Karan Kumar alias Anshu Kumar was to be solemnized on June 2, 2025 and so along with his cousin brothers Mantesh Kumar and Sanjan Kumar was going to distribute invitation cards on a motorcycle and when he reached near Ramnagar Petrol Pump on Ara-Sasaram main road under Nokha police station, speeding Scorpio of the BEO, Dawath block collided head-on with the motorcycle and injured all the three motorcycle borne youths. The locals rushed them to the Primary Health Centre, Nokha but the doctors referred them to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital but all the three succumbed to their injuries on way to the hospital.

The BEO said that the Scorpio was on contract and its contract was cancelled on April 21, 2025. Meanwhile, the police seized the Scorpio and the arrested the driver of the Scorpio.
