ARA----------------------------On the occasion of 77th Independence of India, maintained under the Climate Change Fund of NABARD and operated by the Antyoday Chetan Mandal, Ara Bhojpur, the Anjola produced by the farmers of Antyoday Maa Jagdamba Kisan Club Mukundpur, the farmers used the innovation in their paddy fields after the better results of Azolla produced as animal feed and the best scientific research is likely to bring better results.
Giving information in this context, Dr P K Dwiwedi, Head SCADA, Bhojpur, said that at least 22 kg to 25 kg of urea per acre will be saved by using Azolla and the water retaining capacity of the filed will also be increased.
DDM, NABARD, Ranjeet Kumar Sinha replying to a question of farmers said that farmers are now going to get cent percent benefits of the NABAED’s scheme.
Ram Nath Thakur, secretary, Antyoday Chetana Mandal said that initiative is being taken to take Ajolla to every farmer of Bhojpur district.
On this occasion, saplings were planted in Amrit Vatika with hundreds of salutation to the heroes under Apni Mati, Apna Desh programme. DDM, NABARD, Ranjeet Kumar Sinha, LDMPNB Rajesh Kumar Chaudhary, Mukhia, Praveen Kumar and organizer of Farmers’ Club Ram Kumar Thakur and the Secretary, Antyoday Chetana Mandal Ram Nath Thakur, Virendra Thakur, Brahmeshwar Pandey, Satnarayan Pandey, Hakeem Pandey, Vinod Ram and others were present on the occasion.
