BHABHUA---------------------An unknown youth fled away with a one and half year old child taking from the lap of a woman from Karmanasha market under Durgawati police station in Kaimur district on pretext of playing with it. The victim mother submitted an application to police requesting for the recovery of the child.

Sources said that Sharda Devi wife of Bikki Yadav of Saraiya village under Durgawati police station in Kaimur district had come to Karmanasha market with her one and half year old child to fill gas. Meanwhile, an unknown youth came and requested Sharda Devi that he wished to play with the child. On his request, she consented and the youth took the child from her lap and started playing with it and abruptly the youth man disappeared with the child. When he did not return for some time, the woman informed the police and also gave a written petition requesting for the recovery of the child. The police took the matter seriously and started searching for the child after lodging an FIR in this regard.
