AN OLD WOMAN KILLED UNDER THE WHEEL OF A RUNNING TRAIN
An old woman was run over by a speeding train near Dumraon railway station under Danapur rail division of East Central Railway (ECR), Hajipur when she was going to meet her sister.
Buxar, 21 April 2023, (RNI): An old woman was run over by a speeding train near Dumraon railway station under Danapur rail division of East Central Railway (ECR), Hajipur when she was going to meet her sister. The deceased was identified as Parvati Devi 68 wife of late Saral Ram of Shahpur village under the same police station.
Parvati Devi was going to Mehraura village to meet her sister. She alighted from the train at Dumraon railway station and proceeded towards the residence of her sister crossing the railway track. She came in contact with a running train and fell on the track and was seriously injured. The GRP rushed her to the Buxar Sadar Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries during treatment.
