AN IMPOSTER ARRESTED FROM DCLR OFFICE WORKING FOR HIS MOTHER
An imposter, working for his mother was arrested from the Ara Colletor. The arrested imposter was identified as Chandra Shekhar Pathak son of Vishwanath Pathak of Saidpur village under Ara Muffassil police station. He was working in the office of the DCLR Shweta Mishra in place of his mother Gyan Sheela Devi, a peon in the office of the DCLR.
ARA (RNI) An imposter, working for his mother was arrested from the Ara Colletor. The arrested imposter was identified as Chandra Shekhar Pathak son of Vishwanath Pathak of Saidpur village under Ara Muffassil police station. He was working in the office of the DCLR Shweta Mishra in place of his mother Gyan Sheela Devi, a peon in the office of the DCLR.
The matter came to the light after Chandra Shekhar Pathak had some tiff with a person who complained the Bhojpur District Magistrate. As the matter came to light, the DM Raj Kumar formed a team comprising the DDC Vikam Veerkar and ADM Manoj Kumar Jha and directed to conduct raid. As the team reached the office of the DCLR Shweta Mishra for raid and arrested Chadra Shekhar Pathak red handed working in place of his mother Gyan Sheela Devi and produced him before the DM. Later the DM called the police and ordered to arrest him. The DM also directed the Head Assistant of the office of the DCLR to file a named FIR with the police under Nawada police station against Chandra Shekhar Pathak.
Chandra Shekhar Pathak was working in the office of the DCLR as imposter in place of his mother for the last five years and no one knew about it. Meanwhile, he messed with a person who complained the DM regarding it. The DM had arrested a broker from the Ara Circle Office on July 16, 2024 and sent him to jail after lodging of a named FIR.
Earlier, an imposter Sub-Inspector was arrested from Badahara police station in April this year and an imposter Inspecting Officer from Nawda police station area in the year 2022 and an imposter District Transport Officer from Koelwar police station in the year 2020 were arrested.
Bhojpur DM Raj Kumar said that he got information that a number of imposters and middlemen types are working in different government offices of Bhojpur and the matter was being verified and soon action would be taken against them.
Reportedly, over a dozen imposters are working in different government offices in Bhojpur district in place of either their family members or relatives. Even the retired employees are either working or being made to work illegally on the plea that they know about the records. Such persons are involved in realizing illegal amount from the people for the work. Now swords are on their heads and they may be arrested anytime.
