ARA--------------------------Bhojpur police arrested an awardee of Rs. 25,000 from in between Dhobhighatawa and Zero Mile under Nawada police station in Bhojpur district in the night on January 13, 2025. The arrested miscreant was identified as Krishna Yadav son of Ram BadanYadav of Diliya village under Chauri police station in Bhojpur district.
Bhojpur SP Mister SP said that one middle aged person Aghanu Ram 55 son of late Bahadur Ram was shot dead at Diliya village under Chauri police station on May 7, 2024 merely for protesting plucking of mangoes. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Chauri police station against four persons Akhilesh Yadav, Sanjay Gosai, Bijuli Yadav and Manu Yadav and three unnamed persons in this regard on the statement of Meena Devi wife of the deceased. After institution of FIR, the police swung into action and arrested three named accused Akhilesh Yadav, Sanjay Gosai and Manu Yadav at once and during interrogation, name of Krishna Yadav had figured and since he was absconding though the police were hunting for him. Recently the police headquarter had announced an award of Rs.25,000 on his head.
