-Under mounting police pressure, one accused of murder of his wife, surrendered in the Ara Court and was sent to jail under judicial custody. The accused was identified as Chandan Singh son of Ashok Singh of Bhadwar village under Bagengola police station in Buxar district presently living at Jagdeo Nagar Lane No 05 under Nawada police station at Ara in Bhojpur district.

ARA--------------------------Under mounting police pressure, one accused of murder of his wife, surrendered in the Ara Court and was sent to jail under judicial custody. The accused was identified as Chandan Singh son of Ashok Singh of Bhadwar village under Bagengola police station in Buxar district presently living at Jagdeo Nagar Lane No 05 under Nawada police station at Ara in Bhojpur district.
Soni Kumari wife of Chandan Singh had died due to consuming poisonous food on October 6, 2024. Her father Jung Bahadur Singh had blamed that due to family dispute, his daughter was thrash, tortured and later poisoned to death. He had also lodged a named FIR with the police under Nawada police station against the husband Chandan Singh, father-in-law Ashok Singh, mother-in-l,aw Madhuri Devi and the sister-in-law Jyoti Devi though the case was found true against Chandan Singh after investigation and since he was absconding.
