Jharkhand police arrested a miscreant who had fled away from the Ara court campus. The arrested miscreant was identified as Ashish Paswan who lived in Jamshedpur in Jharkhand changing his name as Ashish Kumar Singh.

ARA-------------------------Jharkhand police arrested a miscreant who had fled away from the Ara court campus. The arrested miscreant was identified as Ashish Paswan who lived in Jamshedpur in Jharkhand changing his name as Ashish Kumar Singh. Bhojpur police are trying to bring him to Ara. Ashish Paswan is a resident of Gausganj under Ara town police station in Bhojpur district. A loot was committed at Adityapur once and Ashish Paswan was looking to commit loot again when the Jharkhand police arrested him.
Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav, confirming the arrest of Ashish Paswan, said that the Jharkhand police arrested him in connection with a loot incident in Jharkhand and the Bhojpur police very soon brought him to Ara. Ashish Paswan was brought to the Ara Civil Court for production in connection with a murder case but on the pretext of illness, he escaped from the court campus by dodging the police on January 3, 2023 and since was absconding. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Ara town police station against him in this regard too and police are conducting raids at different places to arrest him but every time police remained clueless. Meanwhile the police arrested one of his aides from Motihari but the police could not touch him.
Ashish Paswan had a long criminal history and he is accused in different criminal cases including murder and loot. He had surrendered in the court in July 2020 in the murder of Mithun Paswan the same year and since he was in jail. He was shifted to the Bhagalpur jail in December 2022. Ashish Paswan was named in the loot of Rs. 10 lakh from a businessman of Bihia after shooting him on Police Office road in the year 2014 and in a loot of a petrol pump and firing there at Gausganj in the year 2020. After Ashish Paswan escaped from the Ara Civil Court by dodging the police in January 3, 2023and the police failed to arrest him, Bhojpur SP published a notice in newspaper appealing people to inform him on his mobile number 9431822980 about the absconder Ashish Paswan.
