AMC PASSED BUDGET OF ABOUT Rs. 10.5 BILLION FOR THE FINANCIAL YEAR OF 2024-2025
The Ara Municipal Corporation (AMC) passed the budget of Rs. 10 billion 51 crore 81 lakh and 20 thousand for the fiscal year of 2024-2025 by voice vote for the development and other works of the town.

Municipal Commissioner, AMC, Niroj Kumar Bhagat convened the general body meeting of the AMC regarding the financial budget as the scheduled programme. MP, MLAs, MLC were also invited and about 25 Ward Councilors including Paras Nath Singh, Kausar Jahan, Gulshan Khatoon, Kiran Devi, Asha Devi, Sadhna Singh, Jitendra Kumar etc. besides the Mayor, AMC Indu Devi, Deputy Mayor, AMC Poonam Devi, Municipal Commission, AMC Niroj Kumar Bhagat were present in the meeting
The Municipal Commissioner, AMC, Niroj Kumar Bhagar placed a copy of the budget for the financial year of 2024-2025. After much discussion, the Ward Councilors analyzed the budget in their own way and later passed the budged with voice vote.
The Ward Councilors urged to take more effective measures regarding the development of the town, construction of roads and cleanliness system. The Mahor, AMC Indu Devi supported this and said that action will be taken considering the demands of the councilors. Paras Nath Singh proposed to build grand gates on the roads entering the town from all sides. He talked about beautification of the town.
The sewerage system in Ara will be renovated so that the residents can get facilities and also get rid of water collection on roads and they should not have any inconvenience in draining out water even during rainy season. The sewerage system will be constructed after surveying the town. Arrangements will be made to remove convenient water from all the localities. Talking about the passing of the financial budged besides other issues, the Ward Councilors demanded to construct community halls in all the 45 wards and the mayor assured to construct community halls in all the wards of the town and the work on cleanliness system will be intensified. It was also agreed in the meeting to complete the electric crematorium at the Mukti Dham at Gangi.
