AMC FIX THE FEES FOR THE COLLECTION FROM DIFFERENT HEADS

Ara, 28 June 2023, (RNI): The Ara Municipal Corporation (AMC) has revised the fees for the various works for the collection from Sairats to provide convenience to the citizens and to increase the revenue of the AMC. There will be no confusion among the people and no disturbance can be done by the revenue collectors. With the increase in revenue, the development works of the AMC will accelerate and the citizens will also get better facilities. 

At many places including Gangi and bus stands, the middlemen or employees of the AMC realize revenue from the Sairats arbitrary in excess of the rate fixed by the AMC. If anyone objected or protested the arbitrary amount and refused to part with excess amount, such elements behave indecently due to which people suffer a lot. Now, with the fixing of the rate and its publication, such elements cannot manipulate and this will facilitate the drivers and the people as well.

The AMC fix the rate for the Bus Stands at Sardar Patel, Bihari Mill and Gangi Bridge

1.      Large passenger vehicles Rs. 60 per trip

2.      Mini passenger vehicles six wheelers Rs. 40 per trip

3.      Maxi and four wheelers Rs. 35

4.      Jeep and other light vehicles Rs. 25

Tempo Stands near Ara railway station

1.      Three wheelers or Four wheelers Rs. 15 per day

2.      Sulabh Sauchalay at the Ara railway station Rs. 2 a person

3.      Luggage and Tumtums, handcarts and rickshaws Rs. 5 per  trip

1.      Trucks Rs. 25 per trip

2.      Tractors Rs. 15 per trip

1.      Four wheeler Rs. 35

2.      Motorcycle Rs. 15

3.      Cycle Rs. 5

General advertisement for big company Rs. 10 per square foot for a month

Advertisement on private and non-government land

1.      Rs. 10 per square foot for per annum

2.      Advertisement on mobile four wheeler Rs. 20 per square foot for a month

3.      Advertisement of rickshaw and tempo Rs. 10 per square foot for a month

4.      Banner Rs. 5 per square foot for a week

5.      Archway Rs. 250 for a week

6.      Illegal Hording Rs. 1000 per piece

7.      Rs. 50 per dead body at Gangi Muktidham (Cemetery)

Municipal Commissioner, AMC Niroj Kumar Bhagat and the Mayor, AMC Indu Devi appealed the citizens of Ara to inform the AMC office, Mayor or Municipal Commissioner at once if any anomaly is detected in realizing the revenue arbitrary in excess of the rate fixed by the AMC so that stern action can be taken against the guilty.
