ADJ XIII AWARDS RIGOROUS LIFE IMPRISONMENT TO A PERSON FOR MURDER

ARA-------------------------Additional District and Session Judge XIII, Ara Civil Court, Aditya Suman awarded rigorous life imprisonment to Birajan Sah and also slapped a fine of Rs. 20,000 on him in connection with cold blooded murder of a person on November 16, 2016.

APP Nagendra Prasad Singh said that Biranjan Sah of Balbatara locality under Ara town police station took Shailesh Kumar of Mirganj locality under Ara town police station with him and locked him in a house near a dam on November 16, 2016 where he killed Shailesh Kumar with sharp edged weapon and packed his body in a plastic bag. Meanwhile, the locals gathered there and caught Biranjan Sah and his son Manish Kumar. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Ara town police station in this regard on the statement of Vivekanand Singh, brother of the deceased against biranjan Sah and his two sons Manish Kumar and Santosh Kumar. Manish Kumar’s trial is going on in a different court while Santosh Kumar is still absconding.

After hearing both the parties, the ADJ XIII, Aditya Suman convicted Biranjan Sah and awarded rigorous life imprisonment to him and also slapped a fine of Rs. 20,000 on him.
