BHABHUA-------------------------Additional District and Session Judge VI cum Special Court, Protection of Children against Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, Kaimur Civil Court Ashutosh Kumar Upadhayaya awarded rigorous three years imprisonment to Parwez Khan and also slapped a fine of Rs. 20,000 on him in connection with eve-teasing.
Special Public Prosecutor (POCSO) Shashi Bhushan Pandey said that Parvez Khan of Durgawati police station area teased a teenage girl of his village and also tried to molestate her. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Durgawati police station in this regard.
After hearing both the parties, the ADJ VI convicted Parvez Alam and awarded three years rigorous imprisonment and also slapped a fine of Rs. 20000 on him. He had to undergo one more month imprisonment if he fails to pay the penalty.
