ADJ V AWARDS FIVE YEARS IMPRISONMENT AND SLAPPED A FINE OF Rs. 40,000 ON A DRUG PEDDLER

Buxar, 25 June 2023, (RNI): Additional District and Session Jude V Buxar Civil Court, Prabhakar Mishra awarded five years imprisonment and also slapped a fine of Rs. 40,000 to a person under the NDPS Act.
Speical Public Prosecutor, Surendra Prasad Singh said that the police had arrested a drug peddler Pankaj Kumar Pal of Charitravan Ward No 1 in Buxar with 52 gram of heroin on October 4, 2021. After hearing, the ADJ V convicted Pankaj Kumar Pal and awarded five years imprisonment and also slapped a fine of Rs. 40,000 on him.
